After four years of being a band, drifting between sounds and uni degrees, releasing a self-titled album and succumbing to the idea that 2000’s pop punk makes them feel good, Perth indie punks Sly Withers have emerged with new single ‘Good Enough’, the first taste of the band’s sophomore album due to land later this year.
Recorded by Jelly Sound’s Mike Jelinek (Felicity Groom, The Growl, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets), the track serves as a reminder that sure there are gonna be bad days but you/I/we are good enough and shit gets better. Emo isn’t a dirty word anymore right? Fingers Crossed.
Fuzzed out guitars, yell along choruses and disgusting Australian accents. Sly Withers brand of indie punk is a relatable gut punch right to your feels.
